Does anyone have a favorite hang on the back refugium they can recommend? any real pros or cons? I have a 125gl tank and I'm not ready to invest in a new refugium sump at the moment.
 
depends what you want to use it for, most of the commercial brands aren't really large enough for a 125.
 
Mainly to maintain a healthy number of pods and keep chemical balance constant. I'd rather the pods fall into a tank rather than be forced up through a pump.
 
meh, i had one for years on my 90g and one day the acrylic seams split. never replaced it. its a nice place to put your heaters, and my pod grew like crazy in there but it needs to be cleaned out once a year or so. I wouldn't get one if i were you.
 
I had a CPR with the light on my 35. It was great since I didn't have to worry about the pods getting chopped up via the return... I tried to sell it earlier last month of the month before and I wasn't able to.
 
I have a CPR aquafuge 2 with skimmer built in and I still can't seem to sell it. Haven't tried too hard. But it wouldn't be big enough for your tank. I'm thinking of putting it on a 25 or 30 gallon for when I get my office in January.
