We received this coral at a frag workshop and still have no clue what it is. Any ideas?

Actually I think it's some sort of favia frag maybe. It's got the one mouth in the middle. Do the feeder tents come out at night right around the outside of the green mouth or does it look like it's turning inside out when it's feeding?

Yep, it's a favia. It looks very happy too!

Hard to tell the size. I agree that its favia if it is small, about the size of a dime. If it is larger, it could be a lobophylia frag with a single mouth.

The "pimples" around the edges on the purple flesh look more lobo than favia to me.

It is roughly the size of a quarter. I am going to go feed him and take a picture. I'll post that in a little bit.
