I just opened a 200 gallon box of Reef Crystals and the plastic bag appears yellow in color. I have had this happen before on rare occasion and the corals closed up when I decided to use the some of the bag. The salt appears "clumpy" in texture like it was exposed to some moisture. I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this discoloration of the bag and salt texture.

Nope. Call IO, they should replace.

What ever happened? Did IO replace the box or give you some sort of refund?

I recieved a bucket in the same condition and foster smith replaced it.

I've used clumped up rc salts with no side effects to my corals.

UPDATE:
I did call IO and all I got was the run around. The representative claimed that IO must have changed the color of the plastic bag. She did not offer to replace the salt and would not listen further. Very disappointed.
