ISO someone to repair nano cube 28 LED hood

First post on Chicago reefs! Thank you for allowing me to join. A little background- I purchased a used nano cube 28 with the LED pro hood. Get home and set everything up and after adding the live rock and sand I noticed that a couple of the LED strips were not working! Took everything in the hood apart and tested the LED chips and noticed that one on the strips was out. So I jumped the chip and put back together. Worked for a bit and then another one would burn out! I'm fighting a losing battle and JBJ charges around $85 for just one replacement strip. I know there are websites out there that sell DIY kits for the hood but is there anyone local that can install? I'm willing to pay and also have another spare HQI hood for an install in. I'm not very savvy with leds so any info will be appreciated! Thank you!

not sure what kind of coral you plan on keeping but I have been using the trulumen led strips in my nano cube and the hammer and zoas in my tank are doing great. very easy to install.

Sounds like you did the hard work already. You can find a DIY that should be a relative "drop-in".

Send me the measurements of the inside.

We stopped providing a one size fits all nano solution due to the increasing difference in hoods and mounts.

If you can DIY you can have a controllable light twice the PAR of factory.
