Just picked up a Paddlefin wrasse!!from fish planet

this poor guy was in an end tank and since all the fish kept out competing it for food it became emaciated. So Steve let me have this BEAUTIFUL fish for a discounted price so I could heal her up and get her nice and plump again. Its already coloring upnow that its in my tank and is cruising around happily devouring the brine shrimp and spectrum pellets I'm feeding it! Should be 100%healthy within a few weeks! The fish is just over 4" huge thanks to Steve from fish planet! I'll post pics later
 
Hahaha don't worry I used dry rock so there are no mantis munches in my tank x) and thanks its already become my new favorite fish
 
Awesome! Was he by chance the Thalassoma quinquevittatum in the bottom tank closest to the frag tanks? I LOVED him on Tuesday, but my QT is full.... :(
 
Nah your thinking of the melanarus wrasse, if I had brought more money I would have bought it in a second!
 
Nah, he definitely had an amazing Thalassoma wrasse. It must have sold and been replaced with a melanarus. You made me look up the picture of the wrasse he had written down. This beauty is the T. quinquevittatum:

I forgot to add Steve has some amazing corals right now! Deep water acros, orange frog spawn, crazy acans that are orange yellow and blue, blue Goni, a HUGE purple firefish, oh and he has TWO parrot fish like the ones that get 2 feet long, some cool scolys, and tons of chalices
