So, is it just 2x 360's that were put in a fixture with a built in spectral controller? Are the lights better?

There is no relation between the AP700 and the 360we's. Different technology, different dense matrix array, more powerful, and crazy light spread.

Forgot to mention. Soon they will release magnetic lenses that attach over each light to either diffuse the light or make it more focused depending on your need.

mine been sitting on the floor for a month. i am waiting for them to release the tank mounts so i can put it over a Red Sea Reefer 350. I opened it and the build quality is great. What size tank are you putting this over? Thanks for the info about the magnetic lens. Never heard that one before. Is it intended to provide more coverage / eliminate shadows??
