Lawnmower blenny

Considering getting a lawnmower blenny to attempt to assist with minor algae issues. Anyone have experience with said fish? Please give me the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Thanks in advance,

Jim

I have a lawnmower, it eats the algae in my biocube and keeps it at bay, I also see it picking on the algae in the glass for algae. Super peaceful regarding the clownfish, but every fish is different

do they eat macro algae too?

jim checkout reefwise they have orangespotted ones. alot more colorful than the black and white.

The bigger ones tend to beat up corals a little as they like to perch on the rocks. I have a 4" Starry Blenny I'm considering exchanging for something smaller.
