LED bulb for a table lamp

Not exactly reef related.

I would like to replace the bulb of a table lamp with an LED bulb. It has a two-stage knob that takes it from low to high. Do i have to use a dimmable LED bulb?

Does 2 stage mean theres only a low volt on and high volt on? Im not sure that a dimmable will work but as said above there is led dimable. Home depot has them and might be on sale still.

Best part is home depot has great employees willing to asnwer your questions. Frindliest staff next to disney world
