How is the new Maxspect Razor 420R 15k different from the old maxspect Razor 420R 16k lights ?

Hi tinman, There are a couple of small, but very nice, upgrades. The change we like most was the wider spectrum of LED's. Instead of 6 colors, the new Razor 15000K now features no less than 11 different-colored LED's! The small bump is wattage is also a nice upgrade. We were big fans of before and are even bigger fans now :aquariumsmile2f:
 
Still torn between radion xr15 pro and kessil 360we for 24x24 nano tank. Both are same price and have elegant solutions for mounts to rimless tanks. #FirstWorldProblems

Hi imranh, It is indeed a privileged dilemma to have and a difficult choice. Both lights are great and we have no reservations in recommending either. The shimmer and color-blending of the Kessil is hard to beat! However, we do have a very slight preference for the Radion as the controllability (6 channels), the optional Wifi control with a ReefLink or Apex WXM, and syncing with Vortech pumps are all features that we have come to enjoy very much.

As a lover of kessil lights i would say go with radion xr15pro :)
