LED LIGHTING RECOMMENDATION ? working a deal on a 500 gallon this week only thing missing is the lighting ,tank measures 10 'L X 30' wide & 36 " tall and plan to load it up with live rock and Corals
thanks in advance

they are still the best for a deep tank, the cost to light up a 10x3 tank would be a crazy investment with the correct led. on my budget anyway lol.

I'd go for AI Sols. Used they are a great but and are PAR monsters for deeper tanks. No matter the light choice it's going to take a lot of units to get complete coverage, price will be a big concern. Hard to beat $200 or less for a used AI sol IMO.

I have no pics but you probably will need 3 0f these for a 10 ft tank 27 in. 16 k leds definatlly will penetrate 36 in. deep

I have been through many lights over the years for my aquariums and this is probably the best one I have used. The light is evenly distributed throughout the tank (60 gallon cube is my current tank) with just the two banks of lights on the R420R 20.5". I was worried this would not happen. The timer function is easy to use and figure out. Setting up dawn and dusk function, as well as moonlight mode, was not hard. The transition from night to day and vices versa is very smooth (to watch). I bought ...(read more)

The Maxspect Razor come with everything you need, its own hanging kit, or rails for tank mounting. The light controls are built in. Some other LED systems you have to purchase these in addition to the lights. I use to have metal halides but The Razor performance has been great There is no lighting or cloud cover features but I wouldn't use those anyway. Compared to other led's the par ratings vs price this is the best. Its sleek thin design will complement any decor. I would recommend this to ...(read more)

great product im very happy with it. its taking some time getting the light cycles to where i want them and where algae wont start growing. but other then that its a huge difference from my old leds and i noticed my corals are happier and getting more color in them since ive switch to this new light. its a bit expensive but so are all the other full spectrum lights. id say with the research ive done its a realy good light for the price.

I despise my 16k razor and coralvue customer support has been nothing but garbage. You couldn't pay me to purchase another one of their products. I'm planning to gut my razor and use the controller and housing for a DIY CREE fixture.
