ok so i went led while back used par meter acclimated evrything so no loses and great growth but it was missing something . so i took apart my china leds yanked out 14 white bulbs each fixture added 2 uv 4 red and 4 extra blue and 4 6k bulbs each fixture. i love the color of tank and fish . great growth on corals too . usually i say if it aint broke dont fix it but wanted just the right look . i also switched around 4 white and blue bulbs on first channel so i can run dusk and dawn with out that annoying super blue look it gave me head achs to say the least. now i have first channel turning on at 10 am channel 2 turns on at 11am then off at 7 pm then channel one off at 9pm with moonlights on . my question is i know the more blue the crazier the colors u get with corals and i was thinking of cutting back on channel 2 time on maybe on at noon off at 6 or maybe even 5 . now i will lose par cause half lights only but was thinking maybe with the more blue on longer might have a effect on coral color . positive effect i hope . u thing thats not enought time for full power to be on . i like the sps color now but i know they not at full potential and can be even nicer and with the few whites in the channel one i get a nice deep water look very pleasing to the eye . what u guys think leave it be or give it try
