so i got new tank running lat night around 1230am lol still have to place corals but im having loud vibration from mag drivr 24 i have it plumbed 100 % pvc from pump to tank its loud not bareable i read that if you use size larger pipe it will quiet pump um nope 1 1/2 inch pipe all the way except for fitting on pump if i were to use flex hose to the main fllor under the tank will ot quiet the vibrationd if anyone has any ideas or can help id greatly appreciate it or should i just buy a nrw pump

Did you plumb a short piece of flex into the line? Or possibly put some gasket around the pipe where it come thru the hole in the floor, it could be vibrating against the wood floor.

punch some holes on a styrofoam and place under pump?
I think some reefing retailers also sell pump silencers that you put under pump to silence the viration.
Is it the plumbing that's vibrating or your sump?

I have the stuff under the pump so its got to be the actual plumbing im guessing last night i cut a small piece of flex hose from the pump to pvc but still no good i was wondering if i plumbed from pump all the way to thre stand so about 6 ft or less then kept the hard line rest of way if yhat would help dont knpw

You could splice your hard plumbing with some hose to help reduce vibration.

Maybe cut out a foot or so and replace with hose and a pair of hose clamps.

oops seems like you have done this already.

Is the output going in a straight line or are there bends soon after? Maybe some sort of restriction is getting buffeted by all that output?

There is one 90 about four ft above pump and then a couple 45 i think dont know im redoing it today when o get home gonna try tube 3/4 of the way afyer that i will shoot it if it doesnt shut up lol
