was wondering if this light would be ok for a 2.5 gallon tank. It has 6w 10000k and 6w atinic?

Depends what you want to put under it.

You'll be fine then. Don't expect great growth though.

Par 38 LED bulb with a desk lamp. You'll be able to grow SPS in that little tank if you want!

The mini coralife should be fine for about anything you wanted to keep. My worrie is though that it wouldn't be long before you would not be able to find replacement bulbs. There's been a few small fixtures that the bulbs have just disappeared for.
The market is still lacking for small commercially available LED lighting but you could go with some of the stunner strips...or the EcoPico fixture. Really though, couple of dimmable buckblocks, 12 volt power supply and like 6 emitters and you could put together something that would grow anything you wanted.
