Also i owe all the pictures to my gf who did this for me along with some simple editing

Thank also is it bad to have a lot of pounds of live rock because im thinking of adding a little bit more like 10 to 15 pounds more

it's all About how you like it to look some like slot some like very little can't go wrong ethier way you definitely have a sweet set up there really like that leather

Ahh ok gotcha and do you know what kind of leather that is by any chance considering I got it from MCF for like 35....Love that place

Update the T5 elite fixture should be in by monday. Also question for you guys how far am i able to have it hung to have a sps dominated tank along with a clam or 2?

Dimensions are 36x18x24

Um finally recieved my package from reefgeek for the t5 lighting fixture and the ati bulbs will have a FTS prob up once I finish putting it up

I have a nova extreme 6 bulb t5 fixture sitting about 2" from the tank surface with ati bulbs. I have sps, zoas, and a clam in the tank and they all are doing great.

I have the same size 65 gallon as yours.

Nice.....if it 2" from the surface how do you get your hands in to do work lol??

I just turn the lights off and remove it to get my arms in. I only do that though if I get a new corals or fish. I have everything glued down so nothing tips over or falls which was a big issue in the beginning with all the snails climbing all over the place.

Gotcha, I was thinking 6" off or would that be pushing it?

I had my metal halide that high before I switched but since t5s don't really give off much heat, I wanted it to be as close to the surface for more par and better penetration. My sps corals are growing fast and zoas are spreading nicely with that height.

I can email you pics if you like for a better idea.
