Just recently purchased an anthron dogfaced puffer from LA. showed up looked great and got out of bag and into acclimation bucket with ease and no problems. After a few hours of drip acclimating I put him into my display. After keeping a close eye on him for next few days I could notice a few larger specimens were bullying him and his tail was tucked around to his side the whole time. I read that's a bad sign that he feels threatened or someone is harassing him. I scooped him out of my dt and put into my 75 gallon fuge. Seems to love it down there. When I go to feed him his tail is straightened back out and he's moving we'll through the rock work. I have just been dropping in a cube of krill, plankton, mysis, and sometimes a whole krill piece. My only questions is has anyone else observed behavior like this with a puffer before? And what food would you recommend to keep him healthy and teeth worn down. His total size now is maybe 3" total from tip of his tail to his beak like mouth. Just lookin for some helpful puffer advice. I read a lot on puffer forum but I just was looking for as much input as possible on him because my puffer has great personality and is already eating from my hand. Thanks again and any helpful info is appreciated.
