I have the opportunity to buy either some used Kessil 360wE’s or Hydra 52S. Which is the better light? They are roughly the same price.

Depends on what you wish to keep

Nems and lps — kessil
Sps - hydra
Rest all - either is fine

I guess I should have stated. I have a starting mix reef tank. Some LPS and SPS.

This is an upgrade from my current lights..cheaper ones I got on Amazon when I started three years ago.
