I have had this guy about 3 months and it has been eating Rod's Food and Reef Frenzy foods. I moved my tank to a new apartment a little over a week ago, since then this guy hasn't eaten, is very skinny, and I keep finding it laying on top of the said bed. It used to hide in the sand bed all the time now it doesn't burrow at all. If I knock on the tank it wakes him up and he swims around for a couple minutes and goes back to laying on the sandbed.
Could the move have stressed it enough to make it act this way? My parameters were a little out of whack the first couple days but I did about a 50% water change over the early half of the past week. My nitrates a little higher than normal still and I am starting to see bubble algae which I never had before. Any ideas what I can do here? All of my other livestock is doing great.
I hate seeing this guy struggling to breathe on the sandbed every day, should I give him a better way out or hold out for my parameters to go back to normal?
