yesterday i gave my clownfish a fresh warter dip for 6 minutes to see if the ich would come off thats what i think it is . after the dip i noticed that the spot on his fins where gone and also nearly all on his body also .i was told that it is not ich then . Any help would be greatful

I believe a fresh water dip only gets rid of Flukes. I am no fish expert though.

Flukes sounds right
ich will burst if not in saltwater so it will give the fish relief if any parasites are on him.. the white dots are not the parasite they are "scabs" basicly from the parasite sucking its blood.."cysts" actually..but as soon as you put him back into a ich infected tank he will get it again...
