So was just thinking about how one of my AIO's could make a cool seahorse tank. I think I would need to divert part of the flow back into the first chamber.

How much flow do you have in your seahorse tank? Turnover rate etc.

How deep should it be? Maybe go from 18x18x12 to 18xx18x18?

Any thoughts are welcome

They woupd be cool . Slow flow they dont like being whipped around. Dwarf ones can even do with out and a aponge filter will work . Taller tanks work great . Imo i think this is a great idea . Im actually going into dwarf seahorses soon just need to get setvup for em first . Get my brine hatcheries up and what not before i order .

In my 8g my only flOw comes from my return pumP. Its an evolve 8g. Not sure what the rate is gph.

Seahorses need height more than length. I originally had my pair in a 14g bio, which they quickly outgrew. I now have them in a 27g. As far as flow, I have a Tunze Nano 6015. Pm if you have any more ?'s.

So how about taking a 12x18x12 and making it taller like 12x18x16" or 12x18x18. I can used smaller pump and add more drop to tumble the K1.

Would anyone buy one?
