Need some advice

Some things have happened in my personal life recently that have led me to the decision to get some security/surveillance cameras for my home.

Anyone have experience with any? I want something high quality to be able to distinguish a face from 50-100ft, in the dark too. Needs to be able to be outside at all times. I'd like something i can monitor from my smart phone (notice i didn't say iPhone ;)). Also, as inexpensive as possible.

Thanks!

When I had a 120 pound Doberman nobody came near my house unless I was right there.
He had 1 1/4 canines . My dogs now are pretty good but not the same.

If you didn't know my dog, you think long and hard before coming into my house. That's the problem though, the guy I'm worried about DOES know my dog...

I have 3 Pits. They are my eyes and ears. To me, better than a security camera. I did however look into a system. I was looking at the setups they sell at menards. Seemed pretty reasonably priced. Not sure about specifics though. Maybe check them out, and install yourself?

Ok look into trail cams for deer hunting.
They can take photos in dark and no flash .

We can post guard with some pics and rotate shifts. :heh:

Several guys at MACNA use dropcam on their fish tanks. One on their DT and one on their fuge. Im ordering a couple of them my self this weekend.

Ask Adam at Hooked Aquariums about his security system.
