We weren't extended any introductory discounts from the manufacturer to encourage pre-orders, so we don't have any special offers available for these tanks. Not yet, anyway! Sorry about that, tinman. cant seem to find the dimensions of the back chamber anywhere ..

any details as to that ? so i can see what skimmers would fit in there

its funny its going for this long.. i meant the width .. so the total tank width is 15 inches (24L x15W x13H) and the width of the back chamber ? 3 inches ??

or easier way .. what are the dimensions of the display area ? 24Lx ??W x 13H

I reached out to Innovative Marine to assist me with an answer for you. Here is what they had to say:

"The back of the tank to the filter wall is a little over 3 inches. Since each of these tanks are handmade, the filter wall dims change slightly, from 3.1 to 3.25 inches. So we basically say it is 3 inches to be safe.

So the display dims are 12 x 12 x 13 inches for the 10 gallon and 24 x 12 x 13 inches for the 20 gallon."

I agree! The stand is a little pricey, although I have an IM stand myself (for the 38 gallon Nuvo) and haven't experienced any issues with it. I used it as TV stand before I had my tank set up. It's sturdy! lol

My sentiments exactly. I had a 5 or so gallon EcoPico going for a few years as a freshwater planted tank and would have loved to have a little more real estate for 'scaping.

I don't think I could persuade my mom to dump her betta bowl for this, unfortunately.

Just tell her u can provide a better living accomodation for her betta fish and provide it with a long and fruitful life. Only thing is if i were getting that tank i would probably inclined to get a chiller, ago, co2 reactor, controllable heater(for the winter), air bubbler.. the list goes on lol

any clue on delivery date for the 20 Gal ? im thinking about pre ordering one of those or wait till they fix the problems in the first batch. Decisions decisions

We are hearing best case scenario is next Thursday, 8/7. Fortunately, we are less than 14 miles from Innovative Marine. Once they physically have the tanks, we should have them here pretty much immediately thereafter. I think it's safe to say we'll be shipping pre-orders by week after next... but hopefully sooner.
