Hi this is my first time posting a question here and my first ever saltwater tank. So I appreciate all the help ahead of time. Anyway how much water should be in the middle chamber or the over flow where my pump is on my nuvo 30? Right now the chaamber is only a quarter filled just covering the pump? Does it matter?

I don't have a IM but if its like the BC AIO, it's personal preference where you want that water level set at. Just make sure its not low to the point it'll run dry. Be on top of the top offs and you'll be ok. BTW also like the razor nano you got on there.

Welcome. I would fill it at least half way up unless you have an ATO. The water level on my Nuvo 16 goes down fairly quickly. I try to keep the water level just below where it falls into the pump chamber.

Thanks for the input. I was on the fence about the razor or ai nano but I'm so glad I went with the razor. I'm so excited I hope all goes well

On my nuvo30, I fill it all the way up, just enough to not go over the baffle (1/2").
- Adds water volume.
- Gives you a good line so that you top off the right amount every time. Just keep it right below the baffle's top and you keep the same salinity.
- If you miss a couple days, the water drops and nothing happens. If you miss a couple days with the water at pump level, the pump goes dry and the tank loses its filtration (and heating).

get an ato thats a small tank and it will drop quick i just got the tunze osmo considered the nano. you could def get the tunze nano ato. let us know if you like the razor nano. im 100% sure it will grow anything and you will love it. i have a 120w 16k over my 45 gal cube. and i have it way down and 12" above the water.
