New Lens and new coral

I finally took the plunge and purchased a 100mm macro lens then figured what better way to use it but to post some new SPS that arrived today. Photos taken about 5 minutes after coralrx dip. These had no adjustments on them, just did a white balance to my tank.

Ebay - vender Mile High Coral, very good to work with, package arrive in great shape and packaged very well with a heat pack. I'd do business with him again.

Polyp extension.
The 1st macro shots you took were after a dip. So the PE wasn't 100.

Try taking some some of that WD or the unknown Aussie when settled

They aren't completely white so I'm hoping a few survived and will come back, if I don't see slight recovery, ill put them in my frag tank

I contacted mile high corals and he's going to send me a replacement frag as a courtesy, I just need to pay shipping, shop I'm going to pick up another frag from them

Looks like part of the Aussie survived. Did a bit of target feeding yesterday with Reef-roids, the PC rainbow has some color can see small polyps with my macro lens. These pics are with my Note 8

....I'm certain. That will not make it.

I've seen it many times before. The stress from the dip killed the flesh and started necrosis.

It's hard to frag a frag. But more so with flesh necrosis.



Hope the new shipment or replacements go better

Yea I'm not sure either but I'll still try and bring them around. First time I've had this happen to coral after a dip.
