New scape!

Started my reef addiction 5 months ago. I jumped in with both feet! To the point I think my family is planning a interventionist. So after months of looking at your post and pictures I decided I had a scape that was not working for a awesome reef. So Saturday tore everything out all coral to the sump and went to work. With some help from a friend this is the end result. Critiques with helpful suggestions welcome.
Old scape first pic.

U know my tank was just like your first pic . And i loved the look of mine and yours before the change had tons of room for corals with a rock wall for sure . But tank didnt run so well then i switched to the less rock better flow look i like the look tank runs great but still took me while to get use to not haveing a rock wall lol . Looks good and looks like u had your work cut out for u only down side is less coral room and im still coming to terms with that lol

first pic looked like a rock wall....def like the re-scaped version now...:thumb:
my only concern for you would be how difficult is it now to clean out the covered back corners of the tank?...
from the pix it looks to be up against the glass on both sides....or am I just seeing it wrong?

Looks MUCH better! I have two, minor critiques: The first is that you'll get better flow if you keep the rocks off of the glass. The second is pure aesthetics and personal preference....... I prefer a rockscape to be asymmetrical. Yours is currently very symmetrical. You'll get a more natural look if you could get the center island a little off center and maybe make one of the end islands lower, a little more forward, and not touching the corner (a true island). This is just my personal preference, so take it with a grain of salt. It looks good as is too.

Close to walls but able to get back there to clean what little sand there is don't plan on cleaning glass
