Ok... Who lost power?

Just lost power in the whole neighborhood because of the thunder.
No worries here the in-line generator kicked in and all is well.

No worries... The generator is hook up to the house and hard piped to
The gas line. I'm good and the tank is happy as ever and the neighbors are coming over with extension cords

Mine went down for about 30 seconds, I was scrambling for a bucket because i think my sump on main tank is like 1/2 to short and water spills over top if overflows drain to much, but it popped right back on.

Scott, you need to get yourself a 1 way valve for your return pump.

I know, but im going for a bigger sump. I am moving all my sump,fuge,chiller,skimmer,reactors into a room were all my house plumbings at soon.its only about 30 foot of lines so think it will work better and clean up under my cabinet.

I was lucky enough not to lose power, but in the 3 years I have been here we've lost power twice, and only once was for more than 20 minutes...

I picked up a APC UPS 750XL on the super cheap, craigslist, which will run my return pump, and heater for almost 2.5hrs. Woohoo!
