If your new to an Ecotech mp pump, I’d try all the settings to understand potential within your tank. You have many options. I like reefcrest for its randomness. If you plan to connect to an Apex, you can program a variety of mode to occur during a 24 hour period, very nice.

That's my next thing to figure out is Apex. Think want one but not sure . Need one . Have 120 with radions xr30 g4 2 of em . 1 jeabo return pump . And jeabo wave maker . So idk if have to buy all new stuff to run with one is it worth it . Have the new mp 40 on way . And orphek led strip . On way . When they open back up . ...

They sell the wxm module that will control your radion and mps. They also make a module that controlles jeabo stuff. Usually tou can find the jeabo modules used for cheap . I run a jeabo return also I don’t bother with a module for it since i run that full speed. I do have it plugged into apex just a outlet that least you program all the pumps for feed mode. Id recommend the wxm module for the ecotec stuff but i feel the jeabo stuff doesn’t need a separate module. A break out box is inice to have on apex and run like 25$ only. Lets you run float switches and door switches set alarms . I use it for a ato and a flot switch in my skimmer cup so it turns off before it over flows i also ran floats to my ato container so it refills automatically and shuts down when done. Imo apex is a great investment and can do pretty much anything you can think of. I’ve seen people set up auto water change systems using apex. Pretty much making the tank run on auto pilot. Its crazy
