Plumbing

My tank is up and running. I have an over flow box with a hob sump. I have a 30 gallon tank and would like to put a 10 gallon sump under the tank and get rid of the hob sump. Is there any way to drill the tank while it is setup?I know that is kind of a dumb question but thought I would ask. I also want to know how to setup the plumbing from the overflow box to the tank and back. Does anyone have some suggestions and Pics? Thanks

if glass tank, i would say its probably impossible.
if acrylic, id say it is possible, but not probable.

id say you best bet would be to buy a new tank, drill it, then transfer everything over. or just stick with the over flow box.

Ok I can stick with the overflow for now but I still need some ideas for the plumbing

overflow from tank into sump.
return pump (internal or external) from sump to tank.

you can use either hard PVC, flexible PVC, or flexible tubing. but worry about that when you have everything. i'd also recommend a check valve on your return.
