problems with cpr bak pak 2 skimmer

OK so I got a used CPR Skimmer and the pump is crap and I can't get any bubbles through the Skimmer.it just just pushes water up the airline. So I'm just using the pump to push water through and I'm going to use a wood air stone to get the bbubbles through the Skimmer.

That's what I'm doing I have a wood stone and I have a good size air pump to use it just found a few more cracks and leaks in it so gotta wait till tonight to to try it again

I got it from frostyjay1. But he got it from someone else. Looks like the guy before him dropped it and broke a bunch of stuff so ive been up trying to silicon the heck out of the hole thing

Can we see pictures of this skimmer? You might be missing a pc on the pump..

Also is the pump a MJ?

Well I got to skim and it's holding water now . The pump is very weak

The air line should be on the pump inlet. Idk y it would spray water. Good airstone may be better anyways. GL.

yea thats what i did and of course after 20 minutes of it running it started to leak again!!!!! GOD now i got to wait even longer to get it runnin

Make sure the inlet for the air intake is clipped to the top of the skimmer.

ok so heres what happened i got the pump just pumping water through the skimmer then i have one of those wood air stones that put out super fine micro bubbles for the skimming part. after having the skimmer run for about 20 minutes then i noticed another leak in it so im going to retry tomorrow after its done curing
