Question regarding size of holes to be drilled for 29g biocube.

Hello Everyone,

I recently picked up a 29g biocube and would like to add a sump. I plan on drilling the tank, but am not sure what size my drainage hole and return hole should be. From what I have read, I should have a 1" drain hole. Should I also have a 1" return hole as well? I plan on using a Mag 5 for the return pump. Thanks in advance for the help, as I want to make sure I am cutting the correct holes before I start drilling!

You want a 1 inch drain an a 3/4 return. That's the standard till about 75 gallons is what I've seen.
