Radion G3 pros with T5

Hi...
I'm new to this site and look forward to reading and learning something that is fairly close to me. WI. I will post some pictures of my tank that is currently running and my Reef Savvy that is underway. In the meantime I'm looking for some advice or if anyone has used this combo together. I know I have heard of people running both and even more together. My tank is a 240gal 60x36x24 with (3) G3 pros. I have noticed since I have had these for about 6 months that growth has slowly picked up and colors arte good but not Awesome. Tank is mostly SPS and water chemistry is good. Little nitrates, Phos etc. Cal, Mag, Alk is all within ideal ranges. So I'm thinking of adding of adding (2) 4' T5 fixtures. Each fixture would have (2) blubs (Blue+ & Aqua Blue Special). These will run parallel to the Radion's
So would this be a killer lighting combo or overkill?
Looking for your input!
Thanks
Joe

I have read a people adding the T5's to add a "boost" to their tank. Sounds like SPS have reacted with stronger colors. So I was just wondering if anyone has this to their tanks. Don't get me wrong I love my Radion Pros (running at 60%) Just looking for a add to enhance some growth and colors. :-)

Everyone has an opinion or a motive . When you visit other tanks and see the different set ups it's not hard to see what really works and what doesn't . I have seen some of the best tank growth and color with just a led home build systems however I run MHs because they work best for me. Keep in mind there are so many other factors and what works in one system may not work as well in another. Some one recently told me the key is keep your hands out of your tank and leave it alone. After seeing his tank in person I tend to consider there might be something to what he said . Basically it translates into consistency .

Well Said

I like to see 200 Peak PAR on the sand Bed for my Red Carpet Anemone.

Given a 30" Deep Tank, T5s are a necessary addition.

Look at the radion as a 250 watt MH equivalent with less coverage.

Great advice and thoughts! I will be adding the 'T5 and monitor the affects on the system. Look forward to seeing the affects it will have on everything. :-)
