Got any wrasse to eat it? If it hasn't taken over yet, it's not the end of the world. You can even use flatworm exit now before the population explodes.
where do you think they came from? any new additions lately??
IME - Pipefish do a great job at keeping things tidy in tanks they will def take care of you're flatworm problem if you are interested in Pipefish also if you can get the ones that are not encrusted and get a good dip on them
Unfortunately I think my triggers would kill a pipefish. And unfortunately, almost all of my sps is encrusted on rock. I'll be turkey basting until I can get some wrasses through QT.
If they are reef safe triggers and are eating well they will leave him alone.
Good place to startNot really. They are Niger and Picasso and 12 and 7 years old, so pretty large.
It'd take some time for me to find the articles again, but how big are your colonies and how attached to the base rock? At least one person reported to success with removing and dipping every colony in the tank in bayer. Seems like it took a few rounds and looking for eggs after each dip.
This is the only method I've read about that works. However, I have rock bigger than footballs that have multiple colonies growing in them. I may have to cut off the colonies and chip any remaining base off on the rock. Then dip whatever is left of the colonies using bayer multiple times.
