Red slime remover?

Friend of mine has a pretty nasty red slime situation in a large tank. water is ro/di the tank has been established for 4+ years. money is not an issue. lookinh for the best solution. On my way to aquatica now. Quick answer needed if possible.

Run GFO, using some sort of red slime remover is only putting a bandaid on the source of the problem, they will work but the problem will return if you don't address the source. You need to start lowering your phos and nitrates as was said above. Does he have a good skimmer, is he carbon dosing, how often/large are the WC?
