I have a Kent Marine Maxima Unit ...
I got it used awhile back and just realized my readings were over 100ppm so I got all new filters and a new membrane. Changed them all out, now vertially not 'good' water is coming out of my membrane into the last canister, instead its ALL flowing out the 'waste' light (at high pressure). I disconnected to line to the last canister to verify that it was a membrane issue.... I also checked the membrane housing canister/pipe as well as all the lines or any clogs; they're alll clear.
Do membranes need a 'break in' period? Do they need to be soaked, etc first? My replaced units came w/ no instructions but figured its pretty simple, just change them all out.... clearly im being an idoit and doing something wrong.
