RODI flow restrictors

I just picked up a new membrane for my ro unit. I ordered a 100gpd unit and when i pulled my membrane i found out mine is a 150gpd membrane. On brs it says u need to have the proper flow restrictor if u move up or down in GPD membranes. Just curious if i really need to buy a new one or i can get away with the one i have.

Thanks!

I do beleave the 150 flow restrictor will put to much load on the 100 gpd membrain and you will get to much waste water going in to your di unit and you will be replacing that cartrage more often, restrictors are not that expensive i'd get the right one for the membrain. or send it back
