RODI troubleshooting

Just setup my RODI.

I have been able to produce 2 Gallons of RODI which tells me my feed water is getting processed.

Here is the problem: There is no water going thru the faucet fixture and the tank.

I removed the tubes 1) leading to faucet 2) and leading to tank and was able to suck some water, so the water can pass thru, but barely.

How did I even get RODI? There seems to be an inefficient bypass- of underprocessed RO to DI.

Oops. Figured it out . Water is following least resistance. Water will just go thru DI and not fill the tank or flow thru the faucet.

I need a ball valve for the DI tube. Wish they supplied me with the part.

Which system did you get? And can you post a pic of your set-up? I'm sure why you would need a ball valve.

It's a generic ebay brand. Made by Fountainhead systems.

Tech Support confirmed that it was the flow of least resistance and have offered a ball valve. At least, I am getting the RODI water.

Either I'm missing something in this or I'm not and it doesn't add up. You should have a back flush valve on the waste output, which has a 100%/20%ish setting.

Yes, I do have a backflush valve. It is 100% closed in production mode. But if I set it partially open, that just sends more water to the waste drain.
