Ruby red dragonnet

I just had a quick question, would appreciate some advice: i have a ruby red dragonnet in a 54G corner tank (i know too small, lfs screwed me) but i decided to keep it. I keep adding pods to the refugium and the dragonnet seemed to be happy. Its head would be bobbing up and down all the time. It even looks like its eating frozen cyclopeeze (hard to tell cause its always eating so not sure if its picking at pods or the cyclopeeze). So i did a water change on saturday and added more pods, half in tank, half in refugium, the fish has been sitting in a corner ever since. It reacts to me when i approach the corner and scuries away but then comes back. Is this normal or should i be worried? Did it get freaked out by the water change. It has never done this before.

I got red scooter about 1 month ago and still swimming around find food on the rocks..I know there is not enough for him but still happy. May be you change water too much and quick so the parameter changed quick..How much water you changed?

I did a 10G water change temp was within 1° salinity was 1 point lower. My tank had a bit higher salinity that i wanted so i am trying to drop it. Btw just tested the water everything is ok except ph is at 8.1. I just added balance to it. Will test later tonight again.

I did a 10G water change. I usually do a 10 or 5G water change. It looked happy 2 days ago i think it had plenty of food, i try to keep on top of that situation. Im just not sure what would irritate it.
 
Figured out what the issue was: My hogfish suddenly turned homicidal, but would only attack if no one was close to the tank. I set up my drop cam to check up on it and caught the fish harassing my dragonnet. I removed the hogfish (had to remove all the rocks:( ) and the dragonnet started crussing around the tank again.
