sick tomato clown, no idea what is wrong

I purchased a tomato clown about a month and a half ago. After about 2 weeks, the little guy got ich, so i put him in copper medications in a hospital tank. Since then, from what I've seen, the ich is gone, but he has developed a big white spot on one side and a white patch that was once red that seems to have gotten bigger. The white patch almost looks deep in his scales. Also he seems to be eating on and off as well. Pictures are below.
My water specs are:
SG-1.024
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate- ~40

Its probably was a cut from scratching from the ich .that got infected. If the melefix didnt help u might need antibotics to cure the infection .
 
Thanks for the help! The redness seemed to have gone away after treating with melafix, but there is still a big white gash there, and the gash looks like it has gotten bigger. Any recommendations on which antibiotics to use?
 
U gonna have to hit a store and see what they have for infections. Half names i cant pronouce or spell lol. I know they sell fish meds thats same as humans kinda like bactrim and what not . Im sure u can find something on a shelf at lfs or petco might be best bet some lfs dont carry chit for meds just fish that way it dies they can sell u another and make more money lol. Hopefully someone can give u a name or google secondary infections meds for fish
