Skimmer Acting up

My skimmer has me confused. So the skimmer has been running fine for about 11 months. Nice skimate thick and dark. About a week ago after a water change it started to bubble up more than normal and with 24 bourse the cup is full of a clear skim basically water. I only thing I did was the water change and replaced the carbon pads and phosphate pads in my media caddys (Nuvo 16) but I have done this in the past without issue. I rinsed all the pads in ro water before inserting into the caddy as well. I did not add any other conditioners or mount any corals so I am stumped. Any thoughts as it has been a week and the skimmer is still bubbling strong.

I have this issue sometimes when doing water changes and putting in new filter socks.. but it usually goes away within the day, try blowing through the vent tube on the skimmer..
