Skimmer question

For a 29 gal tank
Should I go for
Coralife Protein skimmer rated for 125gal
Or
Red sea prizm rated for 40gal

They both can be HOB

And in the future I plan to get 75gal tank

I have a sc-65. Its two weeks old and just finished breaking in. It's quiet and pulls allot of crap. Many say its very efficient. Its a bubble magus nc3.5 clone. $80- no waiting on shipping and break in time.

I also have a three hour old Brs single reactor. The mj1200 it came with needs time to break in. It's rather noisy. You can run carbon, gfo or both. Comes with pump and pura carbon. I bought this a week ago from aquatica. $65. $69.99 on brs.com. no waiting or paying for shipping and I'm including a LG 1.4L container of pura carbon. I've used less than a cup. This is a quicksale because I'm purchasing a different tank. No more sump. thanks.
 
I also have an sc65 brand new in box for $80 cash. It's far too small for my 180, and no longer need it for the 40 breeder I was going to setup.
 
HOB skimmers will not be good for 75gal down the road... Invest good money on a skimmer rated twice your size or some what. Just my 2 cents...

is it hob ? i dont have a sump in the nano
 
I second Lil Bam Bam I have always hear go twice at a minimum what your tank is rated at!! When it doubt buy big to skim it out!! :P
