decided to convert my 120 gal. wild discus tank to a fowlr last August. I was pretty happy but it just seemed to be missing something. due to severe back problems I do not run a sump. hob skimmer, two Jeboa power heads, 150 lbs of live rock and 80 lbs of sand.
fish are:
one spot foxface
melanarus wrasse
candy cane wrasse
lawn mower blenny
bangaii cardinal
coral beauty
scissor tail dart
pair of zebra barred darts
pair of black oc clowns
yellow tail damsel
flame hawkfish
all soft corals as I do not plan on dosing. I'm done with the fish but still adding corals now and then. this is my first sw tank and so far everything is fine. not going to win any awards, but it's really a joy after watching discus do nothing for four years.
