Small parasite???

I have just recently seen some very small fast crawling ant like bugs coming in and out of the holes in the rocks. They are so small its hard to describe them. They look to be white in the front, black or brown in the middle, and white in the back. They are so small and very fast. They come put and run back in.

Any idea what it could be.

I also saw a larger one that looked it like it had purple on it but it was so fast.

Sounds like pods to me. Nothing to worry about, it's a sign of a healthy tank.

Thanks Guys. They are so fast and small to see what they really look like. I also have a lot of worms that are half blueish and half reddish, I assume those are good worms too.

Look up amphipods. The worms sound like bristle worms, which are fine.

Bristle worm info on this link, they can be good or bad depending on several factors.. ditto on the pods good comment.
