Suicidal fish

Three days ago I had a firefish jump overboard which isn't that surprising in my uncovered tank. And then tonight during a water change my solarensis fairy wrasse decided to investigate the siphon hose and got sucked sideways into it. Now he has a gash in his side so lets see if he makes it through the night. Anybody else have any interesting stories of fish that tried taking their own lives?
 
I had my fire fish jump out too. I didn't even see it. I heard it hit the couch and investigated. I also lost a Blenny that way and didn't find him for a few days when i realized he was missing. They certainly don't look the same out of water.
 
midas blenny jumped on me, tiny lil hole in the canopy. Not even the eels could get through that hole. :(
