Does anyone out there have one or know someone that is using a Super Reef Octopus XP-8000 Internal Protein Skimmer?

I'm thinking about getting one but haven't seen too many user reviews on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!:brick:
 
hey mike i just came back from visiting A friend with the XP-8000 ext,he says it's a beast,i bought his custom Orca Skimmer.has 26tangs in his tank.it's a 450g display,1000gal total.

I have a smaller octopus and it works amazing. I love it. For a grand I bet you won't be disappointed

That is all that I needed to hear. Do you think that you might be able to introduce me to your friend so I can see it in person? Thanks again Gus!
 
I think aquatica uses it on sps tank bbgive em a call to double check if seeing the other falls thru
