Swaelok's 75 gallon build.

Solid stand. What are going to wrap it with? Any questions just ask , there is a lot of knowledgable reefers on here.
 
Yes I plan on drilling, and I haven't decided if I want to wrap with a smooth pine and paint white to match the decor in the main house, or wrap in cherry wood and have a nice dark reddish stain to it.
 
Stand could hold a tank - Like Steve said, there's tons of knowledgeable people within our community who are always willing to help :welcome:
 
Ok so I'm looking for a sump. What size sump do I need for this tank. My current tank is a 65g. Flat back hex. It's had a built in filter on the back, so I have no clue how big a sump I need for my 75 gallon.
 
there are some Nice sumps out there like eshopps. Or a diy sump usually works out the best because you can make the Chambers to fit your equipment how you like it.

Make sure you have room to work cofortably under the stand. This might be a little late but maybe you shouldve done your stand design around the sump. Either way your stand looks really good. Cant wait to see it finished. You seem to be a DIYer and thats always awesome. DIYers always come up with the sweetest things. If you decide you want to do a sump yourself and want to go with a 29 I have one sitting around that I can ket go for cheap. Lmk
