conclusion from testing last month or so I need a phosphate reactor because I have allot of fish and inverts in my system and it can't keep up with all the fish waste . (Even with the protein skimmer and the refugium) This will help break down the elements and should improve the overall water quality. Takes allot of patience to keep up with your water parameters but well worth it in the long run:rugby:

Anyone have any pointers on what i could do to make my system even better let me know I allso posted on the tank build forum..... thanks CR djflashback out
 
Get a GFO/Carbon reactor and run GFO. Thatl bring down ur Po4. I personally run Miracle Mudd in my fuge w/a ton of cheato and culorpa algae. Works great. I also run Kalk in ato!
 
Yea sounds good I was looking to add miracle mud in the 40 gal refugium / sump . All ready have tons of cheato and algae in there with a 1600 protein skimmer thats working good. Looks like im going in the right direction with the gfo reactor. I also heard that kalk in the ato works good have to look into that, what brand do you use on your system and hows your sps growth going>?
