Turbo snail baby????

So I cycled my tank. Without a chosen direction to go, I bought a snail and 2 hermit crabs. 1 red, 1 blue. My super exciting, amazingly cool (sarcasm if your not noticing) had something on him. Being the noob that I am thought it was just part of him. Now I find that object laying in a hole in rock. As I looked at it, it almost looks like half a clam. Any ideas if it is a baby turbo or in fact clam????

Google stomatella snail...thats my guess.

That rock looks pretty old by the color of it . Slug most likly came off of it from someone else's tank.

It was attached to the snail. Been on him since I purchased him. I thought it was just what he looked like.

Thank you all for the ideas. It looks like both when I googled them. Now to decide if it stays or goes. Mixed reviews when researched if good or bad.

I found one of those a week ago in the morning crawling on a rock. I didn't know what it was or where it came from so i yanked it. No clue where it came from.
