Water change precipitate

I mixed water yesterday. Added salt to 72 degree water. A bit of kalk and today I wake to cloudy water. Calcium precipitate I'm assuming. My pump and heater are white. What should I do differently? Am I missing something? Should I added alk buffer instead of kalk. Would you use the water. It's 5 gallons @ 15% change.

Why would you add kalk to freshly mixed water? If the salt mixes properly, then the levels will be pretty stable, but if you add kalk then the levels will become off I would assume and cause the precipitate.

I've been doing it since my first tank. It might be that I'm adding more now that I have more volume. I just setup my ph probe to start dosing kalk.

I don't see an issue with using it. Once it mixes with the rest of the water in the tank, the cloudless will go away.
