Waves in a rimless tank

Has anyone had much luck running a wavemaker in a rimless tank? I was running one on my tank but I realized that the water was slowly collecting on the top of the glass opposite my MP40W and salt creeping down the outside. I am tempted to put a lip along that edge but it would make the tank look odd. Any suggestions?

yup happens ..

there are two ways,
1. to lower your water level
2. to take the top off :D

i went with the second option in my nuvo

I found the problem. The MP40W ES was too high in the tank. It was overflowing directly accross from it. I lowered it 2 inches and now there is no problem.

I know someone made an attachment for the MP10s at least that would allow you to run it in a shallow tank more successfully. Can't remember who it was, or if they made one for the MP40.
