What is this? Dinoflagellates?

I noticed these the other day. I am not sure what they are. I think they may be dinoflagellates but I am not sure.

My skimmer was down for a couple days because the needle wheel impeller cracked. I also scooped out old Miracle Mud from my refugium so I am wondering if these were growing down there and I never noticed them. Help?

Still not sure what it is but I was able to scrub it off with a toothbrush with no problem. Hopefully it won't reappear...
 
That actually might be Dino. I had it too. Is it "dusty"?

When you brush it off, it just poofs around and looks gone then bam it is back the next day?

If so, here is how I cleared mine.....

I raised my PH levels a bit. I got an IM Reactor and ran GFO pellets. I also switched to RODI water and added a skimmer at the same time.

Took a few cleanings to get it out. I would brush it all off completely and immediately do a 10 - 20% water change to get what I could out of the water after i brushed it off. Then I took out all my frags in the racks and brushed them off completely in new water, outside of the tank, and put them back in. With the upgrades I made and then 2 or 3 cleanings it was gone and never came back.

Nasty stuff and if it is the same thing I had, it will start to take over in no time.
