I think my killer crab took out my Emeralds and my Sally Lightfoot.

oh man will, that's bryopsis. COme get my giant jug of Kent Tech M right away and we can talk. You need a crispata sea slug.

dip that rock in hydrogen peroxide right away if you don't have any coral on it. Coral can take it too, but much weaker solution.

Yea that stuff is nasty only tangs ive seen eat it r powders. Best bet is to chuck the rock imo. Peroxide will kill it but i had a coral with some and would dip it in strong mix left the coral in the solution for two hrs it killed the algae the acan was fine but week later crap came back . That stuff is fustrating

Ok, Let me play this back for you to make sure I have it right:

HEY WILL, YOU KNOW THAT 3RD PACKAGE IN THE BSR TWO PART? THAT IS MAGNESIUM AND YOU NEED TO GET OFF YOUR LAZY A$$ AND TEST THE LEVEL, MIX THAT BAG AND MAYBE DOSE A LITTLE!

There does that sound like I got it right?

Nope, Kent Tech-M seems to be the only mag that takes out bryopsis.

+1 I'm pretty sure I read it was some by-product in the Tech M. But you have to test because too much mag will fry the inverts, if I remember correctly.

I've been fighting with bryopsis for over a year... nothing seems to eat it, and a sea lettuce won't make a dent in it. You'll have to dose heavily with Kent m magnesium to get rid of it. H2O2 will get rid of it too, but it seems like only temporarily. Good luck.

+1 it used to have ingredients listed on it, but the new stuff doesn't because Kent is trying to protect whatever the secret additive is that kills bryopsis. You do have to be careful with Mag and Calc levels or you can blow up everything though.
